(“Words create perceptions; perceptions create the world” ~DC )

Examples of the intuitive process by which she paints, finally arriving at a destination where logic and philosophy take root are apparent in works like ‘A Day In The Life Of ‘Them’ or the Universelings Series. Painting after painting she has gone from the non verbal to be poked into expressing the wisdom of the day.

Diana has also found a place in the dancing arts as an interpretive and improvisational dancer viewed worldwide. She has been known as dancing under the names of Artemisbell and Tengobaila while she is juxtaposed on a ‘stage’ with her paintings.

Short Description:
How Luna Bugs Designs was born.
I have always been a cat lover and I have always put collars on all my cats. I found myself buying LOTS of collars and spending a lot of money for not so great products. They would get fuzzy or fall apart. I was just not impressed. I decided one day, not long ago, to begin making my own collars. After a few hit or misses, I finally got them where I wanted them to be and Luna Bugs Designs was born. Luna Bugs is named after my cat Luna. I support animal rescue and support a local rescue in VA called Symbiotic Inc. Every cat and kitten that gets adopted goes home with a Luna Bugs Design collar, donated from my shop. My shop’s namesake, Luna is a rescue.

She was adopted when she was 4 months old, from a shelter where she had been since she was 3 days old. Although I have two other cats, I named my shop after her because she’s such a good model who lets me put anything on her for photos. ALL of my items are Made in the USA. I handmake each collar with the love and care I would for my own cats. I have a wide variety of fabrics to choose from and they are ever changing. I have also added, attachable Bows and catnip toys, which I will be adding to those in the future. Recently I added my upcycled, elevated cat dishes and bowls, handmade by myself from vintage and repurposed finds. I gladly accept custom orders. If you need a special size or want a certain look, if I can make it happen, I will.

NYUK Knives & Leather

Short Description:

I have been making knives for just over 2 years. I started over 20 years ago in leather crafting and making leather backpacks, purses, wallets, etc. It wasn’t until just over 2 years ago that I started to get into bushcrafting and didn’t really like any of the store bought knives that were out there, and the custom knives, although nice, were just not what I was looking for. So I started out making my first knife from a piece of 1095 that I got online. I used hand files to create the bevels and a hand drill to set the hole for the pins. It took days and although the knife turned out really nice I was hooked. From there I made my own 2×72 belt grinder, I built a nice propane forge, I made a table for a small portable band saw, and upgraded to a nice 16 speed drill press. I have a lot more that I want for my shop but that will happen over time. For now I continue to design and make within the limits of my mind.
